Our founders bring manufacturing experience from the marine, defense, argricultural, outdoor, and consumer products industries. With one of the premier additive manufacturing operations in the southeast, we are capable of handling large scale production, engineering grade material, and product design projects. All parts are proudly made in the United States.

Jake Shenk
Jake Shenk is a co-founder of Stratum Additive. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College with a degree in Economics, Jake began his career in high finance before turning to entrepreneurship. Jake has since started numerous companies in the last decade ranging from the defense, agricultural, additive, and consumer products industries. The width of his business acumen brings a range of capabilities and creative direction to Stratum's portfolio. Obsessive over the bottom line, Jake strives to bring extremely lean and waste reductant manufacturing to Stratum's clientelle.
Michael Gilbert
Michael Gilbert is a co-founder of Stratum Additive, where he combines his background in finance and manufacturing to bring innovative, efficient 3D printing solutions to life. A graduate of the University of Tampa with a degree in Finance, Michael has hands-on experience in industrial operations, process improvement, and financial management from his time in the building materials and boat manufacturing industries. Driven by passion for technology and design, he focuses on helping Stratum Additive deliver high-Quality, customized manufacturing solutions that push the limits of modern production.
